Aethertech Skill "Steam Rush"

The Aethertech skill "Steam Rush" should deal 490 earth damage twice. It only deals it once.

+ Yes true. But I thought I had mentioned that before 4.5 release .. maybe it got bugged again..

Went on retail, did a test, will you look at this:

Combat log shows 2 times the high damage (327), while visual shows 327 and 102 (~31 %). I checked packets and they say 327 and 102 (which is the actual damage dealt).

So, I agree, the skill is currently bugged. However, I disagree with it dealing 2 times the full damage, despite the fucked up combat log.

Will see how I can incorporate this in a neat way.

Btw, Steam Rush can get parried on retail. I think it is not a "magical" skill, could that relate to the parry effect?

Might be like the dodge thing on gunner skills on retail.

I did the same test as Harboe. He's right, the combat log is wrong but the visual numbers are right.

Here at this video, start from 0:30, you will see the Chanter mentioning her HP at the start and after doing so.

Full HP: 13499

HP after fight: 8560

Damage dealt according to the LOG:

3487 Kinetic Slam
1017 + 1017 Steam rush
Auto Attack 272

When I subtract all the damage according to the log the HP is 7706.

Damage dealt according to the visuals:

3487 Kinetic Slam
1017 + 163 Steam rush (163 was the visual number)
Auto Attack 272

When I subtract all the damage according to the visual number at Steam Rush the HP is 8560.

#Was solved by Harboe already, but yet I don't understand the formula for calculating the 2nd damage, maybe he can get around it.

At 4.9 i could block steam rush with provoking roar, so i think that low dmg number is a physical hit and the first and normal number is a magical hit.
